Modern wedding of Katie and Harvey at Aswarby Rectory in Lincolnshire

Hey there! I recently had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Harvey’s modern wedding at Aswarby Rectory, and let me tell you, it was a feast for the eyes! The attention to detail was incredible, especially the stunning flower installation that dressed the venue. I’ve always been a fan of Aswarby Rectory because it perfectly balances a minimalist style with sophisticated charm.

The day started with a relaxed and joyful atmosphere as the girls chatted and prepared themselves for the big day. What I love about Aswarby Rectory is that both the bride and groom can get ready there, allowing me to capture those ‘getting ready’ moments from both sides.

The ceremony room fireplace was beautifully decorated with flowers and candles, creating a beautiful ambiance throughout the space. As Harvey stood at the end of the aisle, I couldn’t help but notice his nerves. It’s moments like these that I find endearing  – the raw emotions and the realization that something life-changing is about to happen.

The ceremony itself was lovely and laid-back, followed by a fantastic confetti moment outside the front door. It’s a classic shot at Aswarby Rectory, capturing the joy and celebration of the newlyweds.

Afterward, I took Katie and Harvey for some portraits, but I made sure to save time for sunset photos. The weather was perfect, and I knew we were in for a breathtaking sunset. The outdoor reception drinks were buzzing with a relaxed atmosphere, and after the speeches, the guests enjoyed some fun games that made for great fun photos.

The couple decided to cut their cake outside, and just before that, we captured some stunning sunset shots. It truly was a beautiful day, and I hope that my photos do justice to the story.
